After starting at the campsite, you will circle the 8 hectare large castle lake with the Kalletal water ski facility. The following straight track between Varenholz and Erder is surrounded by wonderful woods. Once you arrive at Erder, you are led directly to the distillery in the old ferry house at the Weser river. Built as ferry house in 1925, it was converted into an guesthouse 40 years later. Since 2016 the former restaurant has been a distillery for fine fruit brandies and liqueurs. In summer, parents can relax on the 500-meter-long sandy beach, while the children go swimming in the 25 hectare bathing lake or travel to the pirate island for adventure. Three great playgrounds with jumping pillow and mud area, a football field, two gaming rooms and children‘s entertainment during the summer holidays, let many children dream of the next holiday at our campsite after their stay. If you book in time, you get a pitch overlooking the lake. All sports lovers can enjoy the water ski facility , which is also located nearby. The varied landscape is ideal for extensive hikes and bike tours. Visit attractions in the area on your own, such as the monastery Möllenbeck, the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument or the Dinopark Münchehagen. If you do not have your own caravan or want to go spontaneously without a lot of luggage, our rental accommodations offer a comfortable alternative. Comfortable electric travel: Charge your electric car at our 11 kW e-charging stations directly on site and enjoy a vacation that combines comfort and closeness to nature. Starting at the Campingpark Kalletal, you cycle eastwards on this beautiful tour, past the "Ostenuther Kiesteiche", and cross the North Rhine-Westphalian state border towards Lower Saxony. The easy, short route takes you on a section of the Weser Cycle Path along the Doktorsee lake into the city of Rinteln. The historic old town with its market square in the centre is characterised by numerous half-timbered houses in the Weser Renaissance style. Here you can stroll around to your heart's content, go out to eat and enjoy the old town flair. We also have a small restaurant tip for you: the Restaurant Bodega, directly in the city centre. The quiet location, the wellness oasis and the modern shower houses with dishwasher areas and a well-tended chemical toilet station offer you much comfort. Whether sand beach , fitness or wellness with log cabin sauna and sanarium – these offers are included in the price as well as hot water showers, electricity, Wifi, water supply and disposal. The individual pitch description—such as size, ground surface, or distance to the nearest power outlet—can be found in the online booking system by clicking on the respective pitch. If you are using a mobile device, please rotate your screen to landscape mode to ensure all information is displayed correctly. Directly on the campsite you will find the snack bar CurryWerk Lemgo with good, regional cuisine. For fresh buns, newspapers, ice cream and other little things, there is a minimarket at the reception, anything else you can get from nearby supermarkets. The arrival is guaranteed on the pitches from 3 p.m., the departure is until 11 a.m., so that the cleaning and mowing work can take place.
